About Just Us 2.0

• Provide experiential, out of the classroom learning, for children and youth with disabilities.
• Create a high functioning social network for parents caring for children with a disability.

When a child is born with a disability, or later in life, acquires a disability, that family’s reality becomes very insular.  Friends, and even some family members, just seemed to drift away because time together is just too uncomfortable / awkward.

Just Us 2.0 brings together parents sharing similar realities; and, for that reason, they are ready to commit time, resources, and energy to a common cause.  As a result, their children will be better prepared to engage the world around them and the parents are now part of an overarching family, a social network that adds so much to quality of life, and so much to the success of the program.

Just Us 2.0, from top to bottom, reinforces our humanity, our humanness.
